Third Thursdays logo Each 3rd Thursday of the month, East Arlington businesses on the Mass Ave shopping blocks between the Capitol Theater and Windsor Street offer special promotions and events to highlight the neighborhood's great shops and eateries.

Anchored by the Capitol Movie Theatre, Capitol Square has a growing reputation as a destination for tasty eats, great movies, and hip shops featuring art, jewelry, clothing, crafts, and one-of-a-kind gifts.

13FOREST is one of the recent arrivals to Capitol Square, along with their next door neighbor Barismo (artisanal roast coffee and home roasting supplies), Giles Fine Wines and Tall Tree Guild (furniture and home furnishings). They have joined established neighborhood retailers like Artbeat the Creativity Store (art supplies, gifts, classes), Artwear (clothing and jewelry boutique), Maxima Gift Center (gifts, crafts, paper, books), Monroe Salt Works (gifts, pottery, décor) and Quebrada Bakery (coffee, pastry).
