My work grows out of two fundamental fixations: a deep curiosity about the natural world, and an innate discomfort with the relentless passage of time. I pursue these interests using a rigorous, almost scientific method of experimentation and abstraction to test and transform common aspects of our environment. Each endeavor sharpens my understanding of my place in the world and aids in the formation of some new question to ask about it.

Kyle Larabee earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in the Building Sciences from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a registered architect in Massachusetts and New York and currently resides in Somerville, Massachusetts.
